I'm helping a friend design the dining room in his first house. He is still living the bachelor lifestyle and could use a stylish space for entertaining. Here are two options I came up with. They both feature the same dining table. It's difficult to find a large, quality dining table on a budget that is also good looking so when I came across this World Market one, I knew it was it!
This first option is a little more relaxed and casual. Limited use of fabrics to help with cleanup of the hot wing fingers his friends are sure to have. I really like the double lanterns since the table is so large. I would take the glass out of these as well, easier to clean!

As a second option, while keeping the same dining table, I was looking for something a little bit more formal yet still fresh. By keeping the fabrics darker/ pattern will help to keep them looking like new for longer. This simple chandelier helps to keep things from getting too stuffy.

What do you think- which is your favorite??
