Our First House: Quick Bathroom Update #1

Good Morning! We completed this bathroom refresh quickly in just a weekend. If you've been following along on this house tour, you'll notice that we will always try to update a space with paint and see how we like it before investing more $$ and time into replacing.

This is the main floor bathroom, it also has a large standup shower in here. The honey colored cabinet, mirror, & vanity were just dating the space and didn't really flow with the rest of the house.. and the black toilet (!!) had to go for sure!

Sorry these pictures are grainy! I painted the vanity & mirror using Rust-Oleum's Enamel paint in Brown. It has a really hard finish and worked great on these pieces. For the wall cabinet, I used the same paint as the kitchen cabinets.

We replaced the toilet with a standard white one and added some hardware to the vanity. Countertop is the same, I like it so much more with the dark brown base instead of the honey. All the trim was painted white as well.

Talk about (almost) instant gratification, I love quick and easy projects like this! One more bathroom update coming next!

xoxo,
